Orientation &
Approach
My orientation
and training is quite eclectic--drawing from depth psychology in the
Jungian tradition, meditation and imagery, cognitive-behavioral,
existential, developmental practices and humor, among others. I am
trained in our connection to the earth and all things.
My
studies teach that each individual has unlived potential, meaning
and purpose in life. As we deepen truths and broaden understandings,
our emotional and physical signs and symptoms can transform. At each
step, we enrich relationships to our psyches, bodies, others and the
earth. Because of this deep process, each client relationship is
unique and created together. |
Personal
Comments
| During my
career as a professional nurse, I witnessed the deep connections of
mind/body/spirit. With the manifestation of the multiple sclerosis
in my body, I was driven to understand the depth of these
connections. I, then, entered graduate school, as well as, intensive
work with highly trained professionals from other traditions. As a
result my symptoms dissolved, and have been absent for over 16
years, as my well-being grew. I feel a debt of gratitude and also
commitment to share the understandings invested in me during my
recovery and thereafter.
