My
experiences coaching and teaching at local high schools and Lewis and Clark
College prepared me for the transition I made into my counseling
practice. I have always been interested in helping people explore and
discover their potential through supportive relationships and
teamwork. Terrance Real, author of “I Don’t Want To Talk About It”,
and the relational-cultural model of the Stone Center at Wellesley
College have influenced me.
Three
years ago I founded the Sport Psychology Institute Northwest, (www.spinw.com).
Our mission is to provide individualized performance coaching and
sports counseling programs to athletes, coaches, teams, educators and
business, and enhance the quality of performance and lives through
physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual well-being. |
