Orientation &
Approach
| From a
foundation in the humanistic approach to therapy, I overlay
psychodynamic, Junigian, cognitive-behavioral, systems, spiritual,
and solution focused theories based on the individual’s need.
I also incorporate creative and movement interventions
depending on individual request.

Personal
Comments
| My counseling approach is based on the idea that every
individual is the source of their own healing.
My job is to assist you by providing deep listening,
feedback, education, new skills and tools and insight that allows
you to get to the root of the issue.
I tap into the rich and varied field of psychological
theories to provide you with a unique and individual therapeutic
experience. Together,
we create a safe space from which to venture into unknown territory.
We focus on your strengths and successes as a springboard to
explore this new territory and master new terrain.
I believe in providing the best possible service to my
clients. In addition to
abiding by the ethical guidelines set out by the State of Oregon
Licensing Board, I abide by my own internal sense of honesty,
integrity, respect, and kindness.
I participate in professional peer consultation groups in
order to maintain the highest professional standards.
